Review: Saints and Soldiers

Summary:
It's a World War II war film. However, it is not the "epic giant battle" type. It is a group of people that survived and must now get to allied forces. However, they are about 20 miles from the nearest post in enemy territory. Don't want to give too much away.

My thoughts:
It is very emotional. Very. It is also very exciting in the few firefights they get into. Warning: it is VERY realistic. There are deaths. Even deaths of main characters. Really, it is just plain good. Go watch it.

Vital Stats:
Distributed by Excel Entertainment
90 Minutes (1 1/2 Hours)
Directed by Ryan Little
It has won "14 Best Picture Awards at film festivals nationwide" (back of the DVD box)
Rated PG-13
