"Around the World in 80 Days" Review

This movie was much better (than Princess Diaries 2), didn't follow the original "80 Days" story, but it was better. It had lots of cool action scenes with ninjas and all that, and evil and corrupt Science Minister, and did I mention ninjas? It was good, with lots of funny gags. Basically, the team of Disney/Walden Media, comes up with another winner (they made Holes together, among other movies) getting an 9/10, for having a fast paced, action-filled comedy.

Plot Synopsis (in 1-100 words): Inventor Phileas Fogg is known for his nuttiness, but things get crazy after he breaks the 50 MPH barrier with the help of Passpartou, his new valet, who is really a fugitive who stole a Jade Buddah from the Bank of England, because it rightfully belongs to his Chinese village. The go around the world, picking up a French lady along the way whom Fogg falls in love with, and getting chased by all sorts of bad guys who are trying to take the J.B. Basically, they make it by flying in, and Fogg becomes the Science Minister.

Word Count: 98 for the synopsis. I couldn't say everything though, so go see the movie.
